Home Renovation Projects from 2022

It’s already mid January and whilst some new year’s resolutions may already be gone with the wind, it’s never too late to start looking ahead at what you’d like to achieve this year for your home. Here at Norwich Glass we had a busy 2022 and are already planning installations well into Spring. If you have plans to add a balcony to your home, upgrading from your shower curtain to a glass screen or perhaps you’ve been dreaming of adding glass shelves to your kitchen cabinet, then look no further.

Let’s take a look back at just a small handful of the projects we completed last year to get your home renovation brain whirring.

First impression count

Adding a porch to your home not only increases your properties value, but also adds that all important additional space to your home. Allowing yourself and guests to quickly get in from out of the rain, a place for muddy boots and when presented like our customers below, offers up an impressive entrance to your home.

Using glass helps the space to always be bright, and doesn’t distract guests from the fantastic wood structure that’s been built.

Wonky showers

When we say we can fit bespoke shower units, we mean it! This bathroom is a perfect example of using all the space to its fullest potential. Our expert team can not only cut the glass to the precise measurements, but we can also install it. Whether you need just a standard shower, or you’re struggling to find an off the shelf screen which will fit, we’ve got the tools for the job.

Romeo, Romeo

We know a thing or two about juliet balconies, 2022 saw no shortage of balcony installations. If you’ve got a room with a view then utilise this and install a juliet balcony. Allowing windows or french doors to fully open is fantastic on a warm summer’s day.

Time for a refresh?

Using glass to refresh your hallway or stairwell is a great way to allow light to flow between rooms. Removing the spindles creates a modern, clean and minimalist feel to your home.

You can never have too much shelf space. Glass shelves are a great way to quickly and easily install a feature to your room. Creating bespoke shelving means you can create the exact depth between panels for your treasures to be displayed perfectly.

It’s important to remember that while not all home renovations require pre planning, we always advise thinking ahead to avoid disappointment.
